Fine Art By G. Allen Kiss is owned and operated right here in Camp Verde, AZ. Since my web site launch in 2013 I have appreciated unpresidented response to my site. My paintings are traditional- impressionistic and are thoughts and memories of the outdoors and of working for the US Forest service for more than 20 years. In my work I am constantly trying new techniques to improve the end viewers experience. One of the most important things that sets me appart from other artist is, I'm new.
I was born in 1939 in San Francisco, California. Raised in southern California in the then orange grove area. Much of my up youth involved the ocean and the many activities associated with it. Some of my art is of these memories. At a very young age I had profound interest in art. At age 10 I entered a painting in a contest and received an award of a blue ribbon. It wasn't until the late 70's I tried painting with a barrowed set of paints. I had to return the paints and with that I stopped painting until much later. Now I find art a very enjoyable and time consuming activity.
Most of my art is traditional-impressionism in landscapes, western, indian and seascapes. My many years with the U S Forest Service produced hundreds of photographs. These photo's and the many memories are an important part of my award winning artistic inspirations.
